This is a review that Amazon.com rejected because it did not meet their "guidelines" about Showerdoordirect: "If you're going to keep asking me to review the same transaction over and over, I'm going to keep telling the same story. HORRIBLE service overall!

I ordered this product, got a confirmation for the 2-day shipping I paid for, got a tracking number as well. 2 days later the product did not arrive. I attempted to contact the seller. No response.

I attempted to contact Amazon - they passed my concerns on to the seller - no response. The next day I sent another message, asking to have the 2-day shipping charge refunded, because I obviously did not get the product in 2 days. The tracking number still showed that the product was in transit. The next morning, with still no response from anybody involved my entire transaction was cancelled and I was given a refund.

Now my customer, for whom I had ordered the product, who had already been made to wait a couple of extra days, was left out of luck with no good options to complete his project and was rightfully disappointed in me. I wrote yet another note to the seller trying to clarify that I did not want a complete refund, that I still wanted the product, but that I thought a refund for the extra shipping charge was appropriate. NO RESPONSE. It wasn't until I posted my first review of this transaction that the seller responded to me at all, and it was an e-mail basically begging me to change my review.

I informed them that I would be doing no such thing, and if they wanted me to stop telling people how badly they fumbled this sale, they could send me the tank ASAP. It was only then that one of their customer service reps revealed that they NEVER HAD THE PRODUCT IN STOCK TO BEGIN WITH. That's right. Although they took my money, created a tracking tag for it, and had it in the system for 4 days as if had been shipped, they were out of stock the entire time.

HORRIBLE service through and through. Now I keep getting these e-mails asking me to review and/or amend my review.

And I keep getting opportunities to explain how this transaction was one of the most clumsily handled I ever ever experienced. Live and learn, Showerdoordirect, hopefully you wont do this kind of thing to any customers in the future."
